In case you are caught by a police officer on the road for not driving properly, you will have to undergo various DUI tests to prove your innocence or to prove that you are guilty of driving under influence of intoxication. In fact the DUI tests are the basic evidence for proving your guilt under DUI.
There are three basic chemical tests for identifying DUI, blood test, urine test and the breathalyzer. The suspect has to take these tests failing which he/she is directly found guilty and penalized. The various DUI tests are:
Breathalyzer: In this test, the DUI suspect is as asked to blow in a machine which is connected to a tube. This portable machine tells the blood alcohol concentration on the basis of the alcohol present in the person’s breath. The machine is usually present with the police officials and brought in use to detect the suspect.
Blood test: This one’s much more accurate than the breathalyzer. The suspect is usually taken to the police station to check his sample of blood.
Urine Test: This one is used the least frequently in case the other tests fail to examine the suspect. Usually, the blood test and the breathalyzer are the most common tests.
